Program Structure

St. Francis’ College welcomes girls from three months to eighteen years on a single campus, where nursery flows naturally into primary years, then secondary, and finally sixth form. Each class benefits from two mentors who quickly spot both challenges and achievements, ensuring every student knows where to turn for support. This transforms the environment into one where individual attention isn’t just promised but delivered.

Learning stages:

  • Nursery — 3 months to 5 years
  • Primary — 5–11 years, national curriculum
  • Secondary — 11–16 years, GCSE preparation
  • Sixth Form — 16–18 years, A-Level program and extended projects

Technology in Classrooms

From year five, each student receives a personal tablet or laptop, shifting lessons from passive listening toward collaboration and project creation. Classrooms feature interactive boards and fast internet, while teachers navigate polling and collaboration platforms with ease. St. Francis’ College is even exploring artificial intelligence possibilities to help students develop deeper subject understanding and learn to ask questions in entirely new ways.

Individual Approach at St. Francis’ College

St. Francis’ College doesn’t believe in uniformity. Teaching adapts across seven parameters: style, pace, support level, task complexity, assignment format, and response methods. Teachers plan lessons to keep each child working within their growth zone. Twice yearly, students receive grades for achievement and effort, discuss them with mentors, and set new goals. Parents receive annual written reports, regular progress updates, and meeting invitations, turning education into a shared endeavor where everyone knows what’s happening and where to head next.

English Language Support

St. Francis’ College’s English support department comprises two specialists and a dedicated center where students attend scheduled lessons or drop in anytime. All sessions run in small groups, with teachers working alongside subject specialists to ensure language support hits its mark. Session frequency is set individually after entrance exams and reviewed each term. The program prepares students for IELTS and offers IGCSE English as a Second Language, giving international students a clear pathway to British and global universities.
